FLINT, Michigan — Communities First, Inc. (CFI) is bringing music, food, and fun to Flint with the 2025 Levitt AMP Flint Music Series, now underway through Sept. 30. The free concert series features 10 live performances by artists from around the globe, ranging from jazz and zydeco to Latin fusion and indie-pop.
Events take place every other Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Totem Books’ back lawn (620 W. Court St). Parking is available nearby, and each event includes food trucks, games, and local community resources.
A special concert on Friday, Aug. 1, will be held on the Flint City Hall back lawn, starting at 6:00 p.m., and followed by '
Movies Under the Stars,' which is a beloved CFI tradition.
“This is more than music — it’s about creating a space where people feel seen and welcome,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of CFI. “The energy so far has been incredible, and we’re excited to keep building that momentum throughout the summer.”
