FLINT, Michigan — Hamilton Community Health Network is continuing its monthly '
Healthy Mind/Healthy Body' behavioral health series with a new session aimed at helping Flint residents strengthen their emotional well-being. The upcoming talk, titled '
Building a Healthy Mindset,' will take place on Friday, June 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s North Pointe Clinic, located at 5710 Clio Rd.
The event is free and open to the public. It will focus on strategies for cultivating resilience, managing stress, and nurturing mental clarity during life transitions, including the start of summer, graduations, and school breaks.
“Building a healthy mindset is crucial for people of all ages, but especially as we transition into a new season,” said Albert Ujkaj, MBA, LMSW, Hamilton’s Director of Behavioral Health. “We all face daily stresses and challenges that can impact our mental health.”
Attendees will learn practical techniques to help develop habits that support stronger mental and emotional health. Light refreshments will be provided, and participants will have the chance to win wellness-themed giveaways.
The '
Healthy Mind/Healthy Body' series is part of Hamilton’s ongoing mission to make mental health resources accessible to the community. Both Hamilton patients and non-patients are encouraged to attend.
Hamilton’s behavioral health talks are held monthly and aim to provide accessible, judgment-free conversations about mental wellness. To RSVP, email: [email protected]
