FLINT, Michigan — The City of Flint is inviting local teens to apply for paid summer jobs at an upcoming Youth Job Application Event. As part of the 'Safe & Clean Summer Initiative,' the event will take place on Thursday, June 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Clio Road Service Center (4805 Clio Rd, on the corner of Clio and Pierson).
Open to Flint students ages 15 to 19, the event offers young people an opportunity to earn income, develop new skills, and contribute positively to their communities.
City officials said the program is moving forward despite recent delays in City Council action, with the administration committed to providing summer opportunities for Flint youth without disruption.
During the event, city staff will be available on-site to help students complete applications and answer any questions about available positions.
For more information about the event, residents can call: 810-410-2020.
