Delivery company Wings and Wheels moves to Flint Bishop Airport, brings 17 new jobs

FLINT, Michigan — This is big business: Wing and Wheels is a new business in Flint that is in the business of making big deliveries. Chances are if you’ve ever ordered anything online, that’s of value, large, and needs a signature, Wings and Wheels had a part in its delivery.

The business previously operated out of Taylor, Michigan, but has now moved into one of the buildings owned by Flint Bishop Airport. It employs 17 people and owned by Lynette and Gary Gavlinski of Macomb County.

“Companies like Wings and Wheels are incredibly important in today’s growing e-commerce and we’re thrilled they chose to move their operation to the airport,” Airport Director Craig Williams said.

Wings and Wheels works with Air Freight Forwarders to deliver extra large shipments from Home Depot, Wayfair, Target, Costco, and many others.

“I am proud to bring our business to Flint and to the airport. We’ve been in Flint before but not in this capacity. This building is perfect for us. This is a natural fit,” said Lynette Gavlinski.
