FLINT, Michigan — Children can learn about sound engineering, lyric composition, video, and music production at Studio on the Go summer camp.

The first session starts Thursday, June 27, 2019. It is a partnership between the Urban Renaissance Center’s Bryan Leach Studio and Bangtown Productions and Recordings.

The summer bootcamp will serve Flint children ages 7 to 17. It operates 4-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. It’s all part of the effort to put storytelling back in the hands of Flint’s residents and its youth.

Bryan Leach Recording Studio is inside V2xV, a state-of-the-art studio operated by the Urban Renaissance Center inside Joy Tabernacle.
