Special event for Beats x Beers burger happens this Friday in downtown Flint

FLINT, Michigan —  Back by popular demand, the burger that came from the collaboration between BeatsXBeers® and Halo Burger is back on the menu for a limited time. From now until June 30, the bold burger — with Pepperjack cheese, Boom Boom sauce, fried Halopeños, onion, lettuce, and tomato — can be found at all Halo Burger locations.

To celebrate its return, Brandon Corder of BeatsXBeers® is having a special launch event inside Halo Burger's downtown Flint location (800 Saginaw St.) this Friday, May 13, from 6:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.

Happening during the Second Friday Art Walk, the event will feature music by DJ E Nyce and a live performance from beloved Flint native and music artist Mama Sol.

"Customers can expect something they’ve never seen before in Halo Burger," said Corder. "They can expect good music and good food. The burger will be available, of course, and people can purchase it for the first time or come enjoy it again."

Guests can RSVP to the event and also purchase exclusive apparel designed by the BeatsXBeers® team.
The BeatsXBeers® burger can be ordered “Veggie Style” on a chipotle black bean burger or “Classic Style” on a QP beef patty.
In a recent statement to Flintside, Corder explained the importance of the collaboration between his company and Halo Burger, and how he wants those in attendance Friday to understand the significance of the launch.

"I want them to understand the importance of this collaboration and how legendary it is for the Flint community," said Corder. "We all grew up on Halo Burger and I never personally imagined my brand partnering with them to create a burger that’s actually on the menu. I also want people to understand that Mama Sol doesn’t come out to perform for just anything so, all the way around, it’s legendary."

The launch for the BeatsXBeers® burger is one of two events Corder has planned for the month of May as he's also preparing for the third annual Beats x BBQ Memorial Day weekend. However, on Friday, the spotlight will be on giving the Flint community quality food and a taste of hometown pride.

"After trying the burger, I want people to understand that we really put together some good flavors for a quality product. I want people to leave feeling proud."
